Midwifery Services in South Cheshire
One to One Midwives are free to all NHS patients and are available under Mid and Northeast Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which covers the following areas:
One to One Midwives provide a community based midwifery service with continuity and choice at the heart of everything we do. When you first access One to One you will be allocated a named midwife who will be the lead caregiver throughout your pregnancy, birth (if you choose a homebirth) and for 6 weeks of postnatal care.
Your One to One midwife will be available over 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and when she is on holiday her ‘buddy’ will be available instead.
Care takes place in your homes (or location of your choice) at times to suit your needs and the vast majority of visits take place in the evening or at weekends to ensure that your partners are also active participants in the care. There are no limits to the number of visits and you and midwife will agree how often the visits should take place to meet the individual needs of your family.

Our Pregnancy Advice Centre
One to One Midwives opened their Crewe Pregnancy Advice Centre in December 2014 and provide a one-stop venue for everything a woman and her family need during pregnancy and once she has had her baby. Situated within Crewe Town Centre, the Pregnancy Advice Centre provides maternity care that is more accessible and convenient to women; with opening hours to fit around people’s busy lives.

- Various parent and baby groups
Scan clinics: Your One to One midwife will be able to give you further information on our scan clinics and will be responsible for booking your appointments.
Out in the community:
As well as running a variety of classes and courses at our Advice Centre, we will be attending the following out in the community:
Bump to Birth Group: Starting Thursday 2nd February 2017 and will be running on the first and third Thursday of every month from 19:00 - 21:00 at The Old Mill, Crewe Road, Alsager, ST7 2UB
From 'Bump to Birth' is a pregnancy group which also includes everything in-between. The group will be held on the first and third Thursday of each month.
It is a relaxed and informal group, which is free for all One to One women to attend. Come along to chat and make friends with other expectant mums to be. It's a chance for laughs, gossip and games. Reaseheath College Baby and Toddler Fair:
This focuses on the core muscles - which are the deep, internal muscles of the abdomen and back. When the core muscles are engaged through regular exercise, they shape and tone your core area - as well as build stamina and strength.
Saturday 6th May 2017 from 10:00 - 15:00 at The new food futures building, Reasheath College, Nantwich, Cheshire.
There will be a selection of handmade gifts for babies on sale, e.g. baby shower and Christening gifts. Also, a photographer, Usborne books stall, hand made baby clothes and other stalls still to be confirmed. These include a scan and bonding business, early years education, baby and toddler groups and some other exciting businesses. Help and advice groups for new mothers and baby first aid will also be In attendance.
International day of the Midwife Reunion:
Friday 5th May 2017 from 11:00 at Queens Park, Crewe, Cheshire.
On Friday 5th May 2017, One to One Midwives are celebrating International Day of the Midwife. We would like to invite past and present ladies, babies and families to join us at Queens Park, Crewe, from 11:00 onwards. Come along to help us celebrate. Bring a picnic and a camera and be a part of our reunion photograph!
1st, 2nd and 3rd September 2017 from 9:00 - 19:00
With cosy pubs and an array of independent shops, this annual family friendly festival celebrates all that is wonderful about local produce, as well as introducing cuisines from around the world. One to One Midwives will be joining in the festival fun and can't wait to see you there!

Can my One to One midwife deliver my baby at the hospital?
One to One Midwives are not able to deliver your baby in a hospital but can be there to act as advocates of support.
Is there a charge to attending the classes, courses and groups at the Advice Centre?
All One to One classes and courses are completely FREE to attend.
